Yuquan Park, also the Black Dragon Pool, is atthe footof Elephant Hill. The water in the pool is so clear that it lookslike a piece of jade, hence the name. The snow peak of Elephant Hill is reflected in the pool. There are many willows,meadows and old trees which make a picturesque scene.

On entering Yuquan Park, upi will first see the Suocui(Green-Looking) Bridge. Under it there are three small waterfalls. The water is running swiftly, clear and green,hence the name.

Crossing the Suacui Bridge, you will see Deyue Tower(Moon Tower). The trover has three stories with the four sidesfacing water, and many pictures and drawings in the beams pillars, doors and windows. Deyue Tower was once damaged in a fire. In 1963 it was rebuilt. Theree Chinese eharacters "Deyueluo", meaning Deyue Tower, was inscribed by Mr.Guo Moro, the late famous writer, poet and-social activist.

There are two couplets in Deyue Tower, one of which iswritten by Mr. Guo Moruo with the following meaning:
  The thirteen peaks are reflected in the pool. The diving dragon is in heaven while the flying one on earth.
 The jade water runs about half a mile. The dark jade isthe body while the green one is the spirit.
 Another one is composed of four lines from Mao Zedong's four poems respectively. This couplet reads as follows:
 The spring breezes blow thousands of willow branches.The landscape of this place is so beautiful;
 The jade dragons in the number of there millions are flying high. The scene of the country is picturesque.
  Five-Phoenix Tower in the park is a famous historical place of interests and was built in the Ming Dynasty(1601)It is 20 meters high witti 3 stories and 24 angles. Looking at it from any direction, you can see 5 angles on every floor. They are just like 5 phoenixes ready to soar into the sky. So this
tower is named five-Phoenix Tower.

XuU Xiake a famous geologist and tourist in the Ming Dynasty, once stayed in the tower for 5 days. Now this tower is used a museum in which many precios historical relics and works of calligraphy and drawings are stored.
