Qingbi Brook (Qingbi Xi) lies halfway up the
slopes of Cangshan
Mountain, 3km north of Qiliqiao Village, which is 3km
south of Dali. Along the brook, there are many small ponds,
each of which reflects the sky and may resemble huge, silver
plates. Water flowing down from one pond to lower ponds resembles
a thread of silver beads. The first pond is about six
square meters, collecting at the foot of a waterfall. Further
up about 30 meters, there is a second, larger pond. To reach
the third, final pond, you have to climb over a peak
in the Cangshan Mountains. This last pond is quite small and
the bottom is covered with small, colorful pebbles.
How to get Qingbi Brook: The Cangshan Mountain
