Baoding Mountain (baoding shan), is renowned
for the examples of stone carving that exist in the grottoes
here.This is a Buddhist Mountain and held in high regard by
local practicing monks in the area. 
There are a total of thirteen different spots
on the mountain that house examples of Buddhist carvings.
Most of the carvings depict typical Buddhist legends or tales
with strong religious meaning. Ingenious measures are taken
to prevent erosion of many of the carvings too.
How to get Baoding Mountain :From the Caiyuanba
Bus Terminal near the Chongqing railway station, there are
two buses each hour which run to Dazu county town.The trip
takes 2 hours. From the bus station of the Dazu county, mini
buses takes you to Baoding Mountain which is 15KM away from
the county center.
Cost: RMB50(including admission to Baoding Mountain
and Beishan Mountain
